Off site shredding takes place in our state of the art security shredding facility.
The facility has been designed and built to ensure that the security of your data is never compromised. Surveillance cameras, alarms and access control systems, all ensure that only authorised personnel have access.
Each consignment of confidential waste that arrives at our facility is logged in, scanned, weighed and emptied directly onto the shredder feed conveyor where moments later is shredded to unrecognisable and unrecoverable fragments. Baled shredded paper is stored within our facility prior to being dispatched to a paper mill for pulping and recycling.
The destruction is in accordance with BS EN 15713:2009 (Secure destruction of confidential material – Code of practice) and is guaranteed within 12 hours of arriving at our facility.
Quarantine Service
Where there is a requirement to remove materials from site but to delay destruction, Pulse Environmental offers a secure quarantine solution. Security containers or sacks will be collected from site and scanned and weighed upon the safe return to our destruction facility. The containers will then be transferred to a secure, access controlled compound for a period of up to 14 days.
After the contracted quarantine period has expired the contents will be destroyed.
